9/11 Ten Years Later

2011/14 / Unique / A collection of 17 postings hung on the streets in NYC, June – September 2011 / Archival inkjet printed text & images on Dobbin Mill papers, with detritus from NYC streets

Size: 13”x 23” x 1”

I decided to re-post on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, since the posting was such an essential part of the City’s response to the initial event.  I spent 4 months making and putting postings out in specific locations. In September, I made a posting wall at the Yale Haas Family Library, for the “9/11, Ten Years Later” exhibition.

The image on the clamshell is Scratches in the Dust on a Window on Greenwich St, a photo taken by the artist near Ground Zero, late-September 2001.
