Gröfaz, 2003 / Unique / Handwriting & drawing on Dobbin Mill paper, graphite, bobbins

Size: 72” x 6” x 6”

A graphite paper scroll that vertically loops around two wooden spools, this wall piece intertwines the endlessly repeated phrases: Semper tedium (Latin for ‘always tedious’), referring to 'women's work' and Gröfaz, the German acronym used by Hitler for the all-powerful male warlord.  When hanging the scroll & the words function as a continuous loop.
